'Quality Event' Daily Art Blog

This was a daily art blog that ran for 433 days.

Each day the site was updated with something visual that I'd created. I wasn't aware of many other creatives who were doing a daily activity at the time. It's pretty old hat now and generally a lot more structured or themed. Mine was quite random, and was a brilliant opportunity to experiment with an idea that caught my fancy on the day.

'Thinning Distance' ECU/VCA Exchange

This was an exhibition exchange project between the painting departments of Edith Cowan University and the Victorian College of Art.

Rather than send individual pieces from each artist, we collaborated on a single large canvas, painting directly over one anothers work as we went. The entire process was photographed and made in to a film.

We diplayed the canvas, hanging from wires, away from the wall at one end of the exhibition space. On the opposite facing wall, we projected the video at the same size as the canvas.

'Squiggle Off' - Keith and Lottie Gallery

A collaborative exhibition with Perth based Artist/Author Briony Stewart. Based on the classic ABC kids show Mr. Squiggle.

A series of digital prints featuring both the challenging squiggle and response by each artist. Live squiggle performances occured on the opening night.
